All men dream, but not equally.
Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds,
wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men,
for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.

Sunderland Airshow

The crew The crew for Saturdays visit to Sunderland air show,
left to right
Norman, Ian and Robin. Just leaving Blyth for Sunderland. The weather forecast was good, with light winds from the West expected to go South East later in the afternoon. The wind was a little light at around 10kt so the engine stayed on until we were South of the Tyne.
A slight swell was running from the North East casing the boat to roll. Which Robin was to find a little to much, being over taken by sea sickness that would last all the trip.
The Red Arrows The Red Arrows display team opened the show at 1200hrs on the dot. Always a pleasure to watch, the skills and perfection of years of training clearly shows. We all agreed we would not want to be on the receiving end if this was for real.

The Retired Vulcan BomberThe star of the show was the Vulcan Bomber, which we nearly missed due to leaving at 1500hrs to begin the sail home Unfortunately Robin continued to suffer from sea sickness all the way back to Blyth, However he wasn't the only one, Norm who was taking the P*** out of Robin, took a short bout of seasickness, feeding the fish after being below making a cup of tea.

Robin suffering from seasickness
Other than that it was a great day out, some fantastic displays and witnessed one collision at sea
